Pembrokeshire Auto Club from 1907:- Currently creating content for this section, after locating Archived information, then after kind help of that most knowledgable Veteran plus Vintage enthusiast Johnny Thomas of Tirdail I have contacted Senior members of Motoring exponents from the beginning of competitions in Wales, (John Green plus Malcolm Green of Haverfordwest located Green Family, to gain permission to place data online.)   Green Motor Related Business is still one of the largest in Wales.  I have the results of Arnolds Hill events plus the Strawberry Hill speed trials & Hill Climbs of up to 1921.   It is only natural that Pendine Races stemmed from this type of activity.   Apart from the 1907 listed results to appear later Malcolm Green's Father plus Uncle, F L Green in 1910 seemed to feature in all events, inc. the fastest Motorcycle time on a a TT Triumph both on May 26th at Arnolds Hill plus June 23rd at Pendine. (this is the earliest located info at Pendine to date).   Strawberry Hill at Little Haven in August 1920 saw Malcolm Green's father S Green win 2 medals there.   1921 saw this same S Green winning at Pendine riding a 350 AJS, plus many more were won by members of the family.  Pioneers to now recall, it is a delight to respectfully learn only of the tip of a large information iceberg.  If anyone else has information or images to add here I would be more than grateful.

This is the front of a Print, the rear of which had the 1908 Arnolds Hill entrants  vehicles plus times & competitors places, listed discreetly as 'positions of Merit!' 'results orderly recorded in a fine script too.

Strawberry Hill, sounds faintly like a Peter Gabriel song or Beatles lyrics wordage .. .. Pembrokeshire Auto Club Hill Climb at a location far from where public thronged & police directed Traffic! 1907, well it is still there from Little Haven, one hundred years on, pic. taken by Janet, 23rd March 2007.  It winds up from the Little Haven seafront towards the road leading to St Brides, Martins Haven & Dale.

That Little Haven seafront where enthusiasts gathered with their state of the 1907 Art machinery to tackle that Strawberry Hill above.

the rear of that Print above, sure enough at #15 is a member of the Green Family.
